The Dental School faculty and alumni who are participating in the Columbia Dental Plus Plan are affiliated with an institution that ranks as one of the most innovative dental schools in the United States.

The College of Dental Medicine (CDM) was established in 1852 and has been a leader in research and dental education ever since. When it officially joined Columbia University in l916, a group of prominent New York dentists set the School's future direction.

With Dental School faculty members leading the way into the 21st century, their roles as teachers, mentors, clinicians, and researchers will benefit today's patients and students as well as tomorrow's.
